Coming and Going

Driving from Athens

Corinth Prefecture (2,290 sq.km/ Pop.129,000) includes administratively, a part of the small area of mainland Greece called Megara, which one traverses via the E 94 toll Highway from Athens. This is the purple area immediately NE of Corinth in the map.

Loutraki, just before the canal, is a sea-side resort/spa where one may stop overnight or for a swim/refreshment. The drive to the Peloponnese from Athens is a short one, however, at least to Corinth (81km). It should take a little over 1.5 hr. or less, there are 2 toll booths. The 1st costs 2 EURO and the 2nd was closed (free) as of my last visit.
