This is an internationally reknown collection of over 10,000 specimens of minerals and 15,000 specimens of rocks and ores of which 2,500 mineral and 400 rock specimens are currently exhibited. Most are from Greece. Below right is a room providing information on the volcano at Thera or Santorini, Cyclades.
